If you haven’t already discovered Orisinal, you should go check it out. I’ve enjoyed playing games there for a couple of years. Unlike the arcade-style video games you might be familiar with, most of these are simple, soft, pastel-colored games with cute characters and soothing music and sound effects. Think bubbles popping, bunnies hopping, flowers floating, and snowflakes falling.
And even though these are light, cheerful games, they’re still fun to play and even a bit addictive. Here’s a beautiful example, called High Delivery, in which you use a little fan to maneuver a rising balloon to catch falling blossoms. It’s relaxing and pretty. Enjoy!
Wotcher! Potterheads, rejoice! A new trailer for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be released later today. Grab a some pumpkin pasties and a bottle of butterbeer, because this is going to be fun!
Update (later on the same evening): Whoa!!! I just watched it, and it’s very exciting! Half Blood Prince looks quite action-packed, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of Ginny Weasley! It will also be fun to watch Draco’s character develop beyond schoolyard bully into something more significant. Woo-hoo! Now I have to watch it again. 🙂
I saw these Star Wars kites at Target last week, and I really really really hope they still have them when I go back tomorrow! How awesome would it be to fly the Millennium Falcon in an imaginary Kessel Run over the local park on a bright, windy day?!
This image is from ThinkGeek.com, but they’re out of stock right now. I imagine these are quite popular with Star Wars geeks of all ages, throughout the galaxy. Cheers!
Hello, friends! I’ve been working on a new project for the last month or so, and it’s now ready for action. If you’re a fan of the Twilight saga, go to Club Twilight right now and sign up!
Still here? Okay, well I’ll tell you a bit more about the development side of the Club. It’s built on Flux.com, which is a social media platform acquired by MTV Networks. It’s pretty easy on the admin side, and features a built-in content moderation process, which makes it easy to keep the Club clean. That’s important in the Club Twilight community, since membership is open to Twilighters as young as 13 years old.
Also, the Flux neighborhood is home to lots of other popular networks, including The Colbert Report, Comedy Central, The Hobbit Site, MTV, and many MANY more. Once you have a (free) Flux member account, you can use it to join all of your favorite Flux communities. That makes it easy to find new friends and share content and messages across networks.
So, if you love the Twilight books, movies, actors, photos, news and rumors, please visit Club Twilight and check it out. I’m giving away 50 free “Find your own vampire” t-shirts to some lucky Club members. Just register and upload a profile photo for a chance to win! Cheers!
By the way, I’m “Another Cullen Girl” on Club Twilight and across Flux. If you see me there, please say hi! 🙂
